This last weekend i had the chance to shoot Carla & Ben Munger in Colorado! It was a beautiful night wedding about an hour outside of Denver. I had a great time seeing old friend and meeting new ones. Everyone treated me just like family! These families are the definition of "good people". I felt so blessed! Thank you all so much!!

This last weekend i finally got to do a shoot with my friend Lisa. She just graduated fathers day weekend and she finally had some free time. I asked "Thee Shyla" to come shoot with me. And I'm so glad she did! Lisa wasn't exactly comfortable in front of the camera and Shy really helped her relax. We found a great spot in downtown Portland and went to town! ( no pun intended )

After my shoot with Lisa I went to my favorite little cafe for some fresh pasta and an ice cold drink. While i was waiting for my food the owner asked me to take some pics of his little man in his dads favorite soccer jersey. Niko was a little stud! Thanks bud.

THE BIBLE EXPERIENCE

I don't really know what to say about this accept i think that this is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long long time Its the Bible in mp3 format! It sounds kinda retarded to get excited about this, but i am. This is so different from any bible you have heard before! The Bible Experienceis a huge collaboration of actors, singers and producers who believe this can make a difference! I believe this will change the way alot of people "read" the bible. And I for one am very excited!

i am so blessed!!! I live in a beautiful home with a view to match. I love my life! Tonight i had the chance to just sit and watch the sun set after a filling handmade burger. i love relaxing before a wedding. I'm shooting with TJ tomorrow. It should be a good chance to just shoot for fun! Because really, i couldn't do this if i didn't love what i do. Life is good.

last night i photographed a 50s Sock Hop at my church. (Portland Foursquare Church ) I have to confess i had a bad attitude going into it. I had a really long day at work and in the back of my mind i thought this thing would be a bust. Well... I was wrong. I had a great time and so did everyone else! We had a DJ, an Elvis and a hula-hoop contest! The kids danced more than everyone else did but i think that was part of the fun. We all had a great time. And that's all that really matters!

i was recently blessed with the opportunity to photograph a 50Th surprise party! The party was for my friend Monicas mom. She was so surprised! She didn't even want a party. She starting crying when she saw everyone. Monica did a great job with the surprise and even invited some old friends of her moms by hacking into her e-mail!

This mothers day weekend i was lucky enough to shoot a wedding with Kevin Meyers up at Timberline Lodge. The forecast called for rain but we where blessed with a sunny day!

We had a great time wondering the lodge looking for places to shoot David & Meghan We even took them out side in the wind and snow! It was 28 degrees that night! Thanks guys it was a great wedding!!

I remember coming home from work absolutely stoked to play with my first digital camera! the UPS box was on the steps!! I tore it open to find my new camera body. from that day on i was hooked. I dabbled in just about everything creatively i can think of. When i was young i wanted to draw comic books. i then decided that i wanted to be animator for Disney! By the tome i got to college traditional animation that i studied on for so many years was fadeing out. So when going to school for computer animation i decided computers wernt quite hands on enough for me. That takes us to south Orange County, the OC! My childhood friend was an automotive photographer, but his roommate was a wedding photographer. And when i saw his work i was amazed! I'd never seen a wedding photographed like that, it had life and emotion! So after some thought on how i wanted to pursue photography professionally, i made up my mind after i shot with my sister at a wedding in Ladera Ranch CA. That was it! My search was over, and i was hooked!
